Pickup Should be Fun

Client  P&G + Shoprite

Opprtunity
To transform the QuickCollect GO! POD into a bold, eye-catching display that promotes P&G brands while supporting ShopRite’s curbside pickup experience—turning a functional unit into a branded moment shoppers can’t miss.

Solution
We transformed the ShopRite pickup unit into a dynamic, interactive billboard. A vibrant, AR-integrated wrap brought a playful Rube Goldberg-style journey to life—showing P&G products moving through the container in delightfully branded detail. Shoppers used their phones to activate animated 3D characters like Mr. Clean, Molly, and Theo, turning a routine pickup into a memorable, photo-worthy experience.

A Rube Goldberg machine uses a whimsical sequence of simple actions—like falling dominos, tipping cups, or rolling balls—to complete an easy task in an overly complicated way. The charm lies in its playful inefficiency and creative storytelling, turning the mundane into a spectacle.

KICk-off the fun

Shoppers start by scanning a QR code, then use stars to unlock the experience—activating dancing characters, watching a Tide video, or getting help with their order.

The shopper unlocks the experience and receives step-by-step instructions to interact and explore.
